Jungle Temple

Background

Going through Blender Master Class by Ben Simonds. One of his example projects is model, texture, lighting, and rendering of a jungle temple. While the book's project results in a static image, goal here is to create a relatively static shot but with some fire light flicker and perhaps some other motion? (Leaves, critter, snake, water?)

  • Guide the viewer's eye. Perhaps a light shift reveals the temple itself to be shaped like a giant head
  • Temple and trees compose a giant head
  • A slow pan where some of the faces are following/watching the viewer, creepy
  • A snake slithers or an insect scurries
  • Camera trucks slowly, moving to look down fire lit hallway, just as about to get clear view, foreground debris blocks view, debris almost out of way when… light source flickers out. Statue eyes return to original location.
